Our Owner/ CEO of Knot Your Crown LLC. Is Tajia Harlem. Graduating from Georgia Career Institute with her cosmetology license in 2013, Tajia began to focus on her passion for hair.
She started out in a salon located in a popular mall near her home. As she built her clientele, it wasn’t long before she left the malls salon and opened up a Salon Suite with her mother, who is also a licensed cosmetologist.
Late 2017, she became a traveling stylist. After months of research and talking with chemist, Tajia created her first product, now known as K.Y.C. Oily Coily Scalp Drops. This product became a staple for her own hair care routine. Noticing her quick results with hair growth and ultimate shine, her clients began to inquire. In mid 2018, she made her oils available to the public for purchase and it was only up from there!

Our team rebranded in July 2020 becoming Knot Your Crown LLC. And the brand immediately took off! We released our second product, the Reversible Silk Bonnet, which completely sold out within one month of releasing. Since then, our CEO has been continuously bringing rich and healthy results to the crowns of all her clients all while producing amazing product sells!
